Nottoway County Sct. This day William Pincham appeared before me a Majistrate for the said County and made oath that he well knew a Negro Man Bob, the property of John Royall who was executed under Sentence of the County Court of Nottoway, for insurrection (about Feby 1802); that he was a strong, healthy and Robust Man, an extraordinary foreman and he believes not more than forty years of age, and that previous to the charge for which he suffered always maintained an uncommon good character for a slave - that uppon the whole he would value him to five hundred Dollars, given under my hand this 8th day of Decemr 1802 - Richd Dennis jr
