your petitioners further shew that a large landed dower was also assigned to the widow, who is yet living and in a foreign state your petitioners are of the opinion and do beleave [believe] that ac[c]ording to the statue afforesaid [aforesaid] the whole dower estate has become forfeited and of right belongs to your petitioners in so far as they would would be entitled at the death of said widow: your petitioners further stat that they have been unable to obtain redress at law, and pray your honorable body to take sutch [such] order in the primises as to justice and equity appertains and your petitioners as is their duty will look for protiction [protection] & ever pray &c [etc.].
