I hereby agree with the written statements as to Billys Correct Conduct I have known him for twenty years, and he has always as far as I have known or or believed supported a good character, and still conducts himself in an humble unexceptionable manner increasing his property and respectability. I have lived in the neighbourhood of Prince Edward court house for upwards of ten years during which I have had frequent transactions with Billy Brown who is named in the within certificates, and can say that he has always acted honourably in every respect, and that his good behaviour ought to entitle him to remain with us. He has always so far as my knowledge extends been as humble as any Slave in the County. Given under my hand this 1st day of December 1825 Henry Thweatt
