In the name of God amen. I Emanuel Fentress of the County of Princess Anne being very sick and weak of Body, but of sound mind and memory, I do ordain and make this my last Will and Testament in manner following (viz) Item, I leave my four slaves to be free for ever viz Man David, Boy Daniel, Woman Letty and Girl Cloe for them there Heirs to be free for ever. Item I give and bequeath to three of the said slaves (viz) Letty, Cloe, and Daniel all my property both real and personal to them and there heirs for ever. I also leave my friend and neighbour William Nimmo to be Executor to this my last Will and Testament, as witness my hand and Seal this 8th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve.
