In the name of God Amen I George R. Corprew of the County of Princess Anne & State of Virginia being of weak bodily health but of sound and disposing mind & memory do make & ordain this my last will and Testament Item 1st. It is my will and desire that all my negro slaves of the age of Twenty One Years & over be hired out for two Years at the end of which time I wish them paid Twenty five dollars each and set free. Item 2nd. I give and bequeath unto my brother Malachi Corprew all of my Interest in the secured bond to him and his heirs forever, I also give unto him my black Smith Shop lot, to him and his heirs forever. I do likewise give unto my brother Malachi Corprew all of my negro slaves under the age of Twenty one years unto him and his heirs untill they shall respectively arrive to that age at which time I wish them to be in like manner hired out for two Years and then to be paid Twenty five dollars and set free as before; I also give unto my brother Malachi Corprew my Gold watch and seals. Item 3rd. I give and bequeath unto my relative David Corprew my wind mill to him and his heirs forever and also my Greyhorse saddle and Bridle. Item 4th. I give and bequeath unto My relative Thos Brown all of My furniture & Books. Item 5th. I give and bequeath unto My friend David Powers my horse called Cold water. Item 6th. It is my desire that the monies arising from the two years hire of my negro slaves be equally divided between the heirs of William Holt decd [deceased] after paying to each negro twenty five dollars as before directed. Item 7th. I give and bequeath unto My relative Joshua Corprew My Small fowling piece & apparatus; Item 8th. I give and bequeath unto my relative Wilson Corprew My portable Writing Desk and shaving apparatus. Item 9th. I give and bequeath unto my friend Thomas J Marchant
