untill he arrives at the Age of twenty one years at which period. I direct the surplus of any such rents and profits if any there be to be paid to him and I further direct that the Legacies here in before devised to James Lyle the younger shall vest and take effect on his coming to age and not before but if James Lyle the elder will take upon himself guardianship and care of the said Billy Brown during his Minority or shall refuse to act as an Executor to this my will I then declare the bequest herein before contained in favour of James Lyle the younger to be null and void and give and bequeath all the Estate herein before devised to him to the Male Children of my friends John McKeand and Benjamin Lewis who shall be living at the time of my death to them and there heirs for ever equally to be divided between them but in especial trust and Confidence that they the said John McKeand & Benjamin Lewis will take upon themselves the care and Guardianship of the said Billy Brown and the burthen [burden] of Executors to this my will. Item that the negro boy Bob son of Betty may not be sold and I give and bequeath the said boy Bob to Billy Brown and his heirs forever desiring that he maybe retained as Body servant to the said Billy Brown and at proper age that he may be married to the girl Sally herein before named. Lastly I constitute and appoint the before named James Lyle the elder- John McKeand and Benjamin Lewis whole and sole Executors of this my will hoping and fully confiding that they will take upon themselves that office and prove true friends of the Boy Billy Brown and the girl herein before named and I desire and impour [empower] my said Executors to cause proper and suffic[i]ent deeds to be made and Execute the same in confirmation of the leases and Agreements I have made with Simon Vashen and John Stewart & In Witness whereof I have where unto set my hand and affixed my seal this 18th day of March 1785.
