I have been on the sick list for about four days. I think it must have been a slight case of tomaine [ptomaine] as my stomach has been very sore ever since I ate a piece of fish Friday noon. I remained indoors Sat. & Sunday spending practically all the time on the couch in the sitting room. Am feeling much better now but am a little weak as I've eaten very little. Mde Cloche' took care of me. She regrets that I'm so beastly healthy as it is the first time she has had the chance to boss me about. Am glad to hear about the new baby & I know you must be very anxious to see it. I was sorry not to have the address of your London friends while I was there. I wonder if Miss Wilcox has left yet? Did you see the Rochester girls before leaving N. Y.
