of Age to serve Twenty years. Bridget now eight years of Age to serve eighteen years from this date and her increase untill they severally attain the age of Twenty-six years & then go Free. Hetty now nine years of Age to serve Seventeen years from this date and her increase untill they severally attain the age of Twenty-six years & then go Free. Molly now Seven years of Age to serve Nineteen years from this date and her increase untill they respectively attain the Age of Twenty-six years and then severally go Free. Leah of Alice now two months of age to serve Twenty-six years from the date and her increase untill they respectively attain the Age of Twenty-six years & then severally go Free. And it is hereby to be understood by the parties to these premisses that the said Anne Muir for her part do covenant & agree to emancipate and for ever set free from slavery all the aforementioned named negroes and their increase at the periods herein prescribed on condition that the whole of the said Negroes respectively serve her Legatees hereafter to whom she the said Anne may think proper to devise them by Will upon which condition and no other she the said Anne Muir doth by virtue of these premises warrant and defend the said Bargained premises unto them the said Negroes herein above named and described, and to have & to hold the same agreeable to the true intent & meaning thereof, and to & for no other use or behalf whatsoever. In Testimony whereof I the said Anne Muir have hereunto set my hand and affixt my seal the day and date first above written. At a Court held for Accomack County June the 30th 1806 This deed of Manumission from Ann Muir to Slaves was proven by the oaths of Matthew Beard and Custis Harrison witnesses thereto who also swore that the said deed was executed on the 29th day of April 1806 the day on which it bears & the same is ordered to be recorded[.] Teste John Wise CAC Recorded
