I the Subscriber being convinced of the Impropriety of Slave holding, being possessed of a negroe Woman Call'd Easther and believing it to be my duty to Act according to Justice & equity, I do hereby Manumate [Manumit] & sett free the said Easther, agreeable to an Act made & provided for Manumating [Manumitting] of slaves.
