Monday Oct. 8 [1]945 Dear Helen Just a few lines to let you know that I havent forgotton you'all well how is every one at home getting along fine I hope I am getting along well and expecting to come home around Christmas or after so dont worry about me for I will be alwright I sure would love to be there at Christmas for I know we would have a nice time for it seems like it has ben almost ten years since I have seen you, when I do get there I am going to celebrate. Helen it has ben almost to weeks since I have receivd a letter from you I don't know the trouble but I sure wish you would write to me for I dont get letters [from] any one else but except at home I havent heard from Boe [Bo] sinse I have ben in
