In Richmond Hustings Court, February 16, 1865 Thomas W. Doswell, John Reese, Robert B. Craddock, & John D. Halstead come into Court and acknowledge themselves to be severally indebted to the Coemonwealth of Virginia, in the sum of Three Hundred Dollars each, of their respective lands and tenements, goods and chattels to be levied, and to the said Commonwealth to be rendered. Yet upon this condition, that if the said Thomas W. Doswell, John Reese, Robert B. Craddock and John D. Halstead shall severally make their personal appearance before the Judge of the Court of Hustings of the City of Richmond, at the Courthouse thereof, on the first day of the next February term of said Court to be held by the said Judge, to give evidence on behalf of the Commonwealth, against Ann Perrin charged with Felony, and shall not depart thence without the leave of the said Court, then this recognizance is to be void.
