We do certify on honor, that at the election held on 22nd day of October 1867 in the 2nd District Rockbridge County State of Virginia, Nine qualified white electors voted for a convention and one hundred & twenty eight qualified white electors voted against a Convention, and that one hundred & forty-four qualified colored electors voted for a Convention, and Two qualified colored electors voted against a Convention, Also, that nine qualified white electors & one hundred & forty-four qualified colored electors voted for George A Baker & J M Sieg. as delegates to the Convention; and one hundred & twenty eight qualified white electors & two qualified colored electors voted for William McLaughlin & Joseph [Magoss?], as delegates to the convention .
