[Page] 4 I concur in the opinion that a division of the dower property of Mrs. Maria Dixon upon the plan above proposed will be advantageous to all parties. [signed] T. Turner

The undersigned, begs leave to add, that there are suits, at law, now pending, in which he, as committee of the within named Maria Dixon is plaintiff, & to suggest the necessity of considering the expenses of those suits in the provision made for the said Maria. He also begs leave to state that his family & himself have been, for twelve years, subjected to the care & the responsibility of the person, of the said Maria, & to suggest that in the event of the failure (from any cause) of the within mentioned arrangement for the transfer of the committeeship of the s'd Maria, from the undersigned to the within named George B. Dixon, it would be deemed adviseable, the the undersigned, to place the said Maria, in a safe & comfortable Lunatic Hospital, & to pray of your honorable body to take this subject also into consideration, in rugulating the maintenance of the said Maria. I have since occasionally seen her, and am under the belief that her disease continues unabated and that there is no reasonable hope of her recovery at any future point.
