to the members of the Genl Assembly of Virginia The undersigned citizens of the counties of Prince William and Fauq'r respectfully represent that by the last will and testament of Mrs. M P Paliner she manumitted on account of his fidelity and good conduct her servant man Moses who by the laws of the commonwealth is not permitted to remain in this State- The undersigned who have long known Moses pleasure bear testimony that he is of good character, sober, peaceable orderly and industrious and petition that an act may be passed to enable him to remain in the commonwealth Eppa Hunton Esq of M.
