At a Court of Oyer and Terminer held for the City of Richmond the 14th of February 1829, Anthony a slave the property of Sara Freeman of Caroline County, was tried for feloniously breaking & entering the store house of William Shane & Jacob Weisiger & was condemned to be hanged; and the Court valued the said slave at the price of four hundred dollars - Teste Th. C. Howard Clk

Executive Dept 19th November 1830 Anthony the slave above mentioned was on the 21 Feby 1829 reprieved by the Executive for Sale and transportation. I am under the impression that this fact has been certified heretofore - Wm H Richardson CC
