Executive Department Richmond the 2nd March 1833 To the Sheriff or Jailor of the County of Fairfax You will deliver to John Ford the Body of Ally a Negro woman slave, the property of George Millan and now confined in your Jail under sentence of death, for the murder of her child. The said slave has been reprieved for Sale and Transportation John Floyd I William Harman late jailor for John W. Ashton late Sheriff of Fairfax County do certify that the a bove is a true copy from the Governor of Virginia Given under my hand this 19th day of April 1833 Wm Harman late Jailor Mr. Heath: Sir I send you a copy of the governors order for negro Ally will you please send me a check for the money & oblige yours &c.
