At a Gen:l Court held at James Citty 8ber the 31th 1692 Present His Excellency & Councill Thomas Clowson haveing appealed from an an order of Essex County Court obtained against him by Capt John Battaile in right of him Selfe and as Guardian to Mary Cogwell a Minor Dated the 10th 8ber 1692 and the Said Clowson not Entering his Declaration in Due tyme the aforesaid ordr is Confirmed & ordered that the Said Clowson pay Dam[m]ag According to Law with Costs alias Ex:d Vera Copia Teste P. Beverley Cl G[en Cur] At a generall Court held at James Citty 9ber 1st 1692 Present His Excellency the Govern:r the Lt Governr & Councill-- Upon the Motion of Arthur Spicer Attorney of Tho: Clowson an Injunction is granted the Said Clowson to Stop all further proceedings on an order Yesterday obtained by Capt John Battaile in right of him Selfe and as Guardian
