Att the same time the wife of Henry Batte being first examined by the Justices relinquished her right of Dower in the sd Land to the sd Rob:t Burchett Test James Minge Cl Cur

Alsoe Mary the wife of James Thweat by James Anderson her attourny relinquished att the same time relinquished her right of dower in the same Lands unto the sd Robert Birchett Test James Minge Cl Cur vid Lett att pag.160

Uppon th back side of sheet of Paper wheron was a Deed of Hugh Lee unto William Price of about one hundred acres of Land dated Jun. 1 1687 and recorded the August Court following in the Records of this Cort was this following Deed of Assignment written. viz.

Know all men by thes pnts [presents] that I William Price and Mary my wife of Bristoll parrish of Charles Citty County doe Assigne and make over for ever unto Thomas Vinson in the parish and county afforsd his heyrs Exrs admrs & Ass all our right and title which we have or ever shall have in the land or any part thereof specifyed in the within bill of sale which I the sd William Pryce and Mary my wife doe promise at the next Court holden for the sd County to surrender and yeeld upp unto the sd Thomas Vinson for him the sayd Thomas Vinson his heyrs Exrs Admrs and Ass to have hold Occupy posess and enjoy for ever. witness our hands the fifth day of ffebr: 1692/3 William M Price Mary X Price Test Sarah Sherred [Sherrod?] Ja: Faulkner

To all persons whom it man concern Know yee that I Henry King of Bristol parish in Charles Citty County in behalf of my self my heyrs Exrs and admrs have bargained and sold and by these pnts for a valuable consideracon in hand recd doe bargain and sell unto John Jackson of the County and Parish afforsd him his heyrs Exrs Admrs and Ass them and every of them for ever one tract or parcell of Land cont. one hundred acres the sd land being a part or parcell of a larger tract of land taken upp by Henry King and Henry Parham as by Patent may appear-- Scituate lying and being at or near [Moncasaweak?] in the parish & County afforsd the sd land is bounded as ffoll: viz: begining at the dividing line between Henry King and Thomas Parham afforsd since in the possession of Wm Stroud of the sd parish and County and now in the occupacon of Mr Robert Tucker as by record may more plainly appear. And soe running from the Dividing line between King and Tucker afforsd upp a Small branch that doth divid the houses of Henry King and John Jackson afforsd and soe upp the sd Branch untill it comes to the head line of the land of Henry King afforsd and soe along the sd head line untill it cometh to the Cow branch or untill it shall extend soe farr as to compleat the sayd hundred acres of land: from thence runing a cross the sd Kings land untill it cometh to the Dividing line as afforsd. to have and to hold to use Occupy- possess
