Alsoe the sd Jane haveing been first examined by the Justices did in Open Court relinquish all her right & title and possibillity of right and title of Dower of in and to the sd Lands unto the sd George Blighton Test. Know all men by thes pnts that I Edward Chilton of Charles Citty County in Virginia have made Ordained and in my stead & place have putt and constituted: And by thes pnts doe make ordaine and in my stead and place doe putt and constitute Edward Hill Esq[ue] of the same County my true & lawfull Attorny, Giveing unto him full power Authority and speciall charge for and in my name and to my use to Aske Demand sue for recover & receive all and singular ^ tract and tracts of land sum & sumes of money, Tobaccos, effects and other things which are or shall be due oweing or belonging to me by or from any person or persons whatsoever in the Government of Virginia or Maryland for what cause or reason soever the same may be nothing excepted or reserved with all costs damages & interests Alsoe for me and in my name, in and towards discharge of debts to me oweing to receiv & take or seize on any houses Lands Catle Chattels stock and things whatsoever to the debtor or debtors belonging and the same to hold and dispose of for my use; And in Order therunto to dispatch all necessary deeds acknowledgments and writing uppon record or otherwise as occassion shall require And to sell and dispose of all horses, Cattle, & other goods to me belonging to and for my use likewise if needfull to Compound and agree all difficulties arriseing to refer unto and determine by way of Arbitracon or otherwise and to demand receive examine & adjust accounts and receive wt shall be found due to me by ballance, and uppon the recoveries and receipts to make and give one and sufficient accquittances and discharges Alsoe (if needfull) for me to appear and my person to represent in all Courts and before all judges & justices And to Contest in law till definitive, Execucon and recovery inclusive: with power faculty to substitute one or more Attorney or attourneys under him and the same again at pleasure to revoke and displace. And generally in & Concerning the premises and the dependences as well in demanding receiving
