To all Christian people To whome this present Righting shall Come I Thomas Michell senior of Bristoall parish in Charles City County send greating Know yea that I sd Tho: Michell for and in ye consideracon of my love I bare towards my beloved Daughter Ann but more espetially in bestoing [bestowing] of hir in Marige to William Sextone of ye pish and County afforesaid Have given granted and confermed and doe hereby these presents give grant and Conferm unto ye aforesd William Sextone and Ann his wife all that peace or parcell of Land Containing fifty Acors more or less together with woods underwoods ways passages and all the Apurtainences theirunto blonging Except what hereafter written is to be Excepted lying and being in ye parish and county aforesd and now in ye Tennure or Occupation of me ye sd Thos Michell and bounding vz: begining: begining [sic] at ye head of a branch by a butter wood marked Corner tree to the uperend of Buck Row between Edward Hews line and John Mays junr: to have and to hold ye sd land with all and singular its Apurtainences unto ye sd William Sextone for ye Terme of his life and his wife Ann and hir haires from ye day of the date hereof for evermore provided allwayes from time to time and at all times hereafter as often as need shall require yt it may be lawfull for me ye sd Tho: Michell my Chilldren or any of their haires to come upon ye sd Land and their to fall and mall such Timber as may be for mine or their own nesesary ocations or uses for me or their own plantations not making no wilfull wast of the same. and more over know yea that I ye sd Tho: Michell have put the sd William Sextone and Ann his wife in peaceably and quiet possestion of ye sd Land and all its Apurtanences as before Exprest by ye Delivery unto him and his wife att ye ensealing hereof one pace of Turff and one stick of ye sd Land in ye name of all ye whole as before given. and Further ye sd Tho: Michell doth for himself his haires Exts: & Admrs: covenant promise and agree to and with ye sd William Sextone and Ann his wife that he ye sd Tho: Michell and if Required Jone his wife shall and will at ye Request of ye sd William Sextone and Ann his wife appeare parsonably at the
