The Needlework Guild of America Minute Sheet Plans were made for the annual spring in-gathering and exhibit and May 11th, Thursday selected as a tentative date. Mrs. Adamson was asked to secure the use of the Court Street Baptist lecture room for this date. Miss Jane Boyd Neely, occupied the chair and Mrs. L. McK. Jack, chairman of the nominating committee brought in the following report: Honorary president - Mrs. Kenneth McAlpine President - Mrs. Robert R. Beaton 1st vice president - Miss Jane Boyd Neely 2nd " - Miss Elizabeth Townsend 3rd " - Mrs. John C. Wright 4th " - Miss Pauline K. Williams Secretary - Mrs. T. Elmore Jones Treasurer - Mrs. R. T. Etheridge Custodian - Mrs. N. E. Adamson This slate of officers was unanimously elected and will take office January 1st, 1951. As there was no other business the meeting adjourned. The following persons were present at the 1950 annual meeting: Mrs. L. McK. Jack, Mrs. Helen F. Owen, Mrs. Albert Lassiter, Mrs. Robert R. Beaton, and Misses Jane Boyd Neely and Pauline Williams. Mrs. Margarite Pendleton Long, represented the King's Daughter's Auxiliary, Miss Elizabeth Townsend, the Business and Professional Women's Club and Mrs. John C. Wright and Mrs. Ward, represented the Woman's Club of Cradock.
