The Needlework Guild of America Minute Sheet 3rd Vice-President - Miss Cecile Williams 4th Vice-President - Mrs. Robert R. Beaton Secretary - Mrs. Clyde Rawls Treasurer - Mrs. Robert L. Sweeney Mrs. Jones moved, Mrs. Rawls seconded, that the report of the nominating committee be accepted. This was passed unanimously and the new slate of officers was therefore duly elected. It was decided that the annual Ingathering of the Branch be held at Court Street Baptist Sunday School on either Tuesday, 15th or Wednesday 16th, of May at 10:00 A.M. Mrs. Beaton said that she would contact the church and would notify the board of the exact date. The Woman's Auxiliary of St. John's Church was welcomed into the Branch as a new contributing section. The secretary was instructed to write a note to Mrs. J. T. English of the Auxiliary, welcoming the group into the Guild. A request for articles of clothing and household supplies made by the Good Samaritans, a local group, taking care of emergency welfare cases, was referred to the board. Mrs. Jones moved, Mrs. Etheridge seconded, that the contents of the Reserve supply of articles be given to this group. This was voted on in the affirmative and Mrs. Jones was instructed to see that the articles were turned
