THE NEEDLEWORK GUILD OF AMERICA MINUTE SHEET Annual Meeting 1964 The annual meeting of the Portsmouth Branch of the Needlework Guild of America was held on April 1, 1964 at 3:30 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Clyde Rawls. There were four members present. Mrs. Rawls, President, opened the meeting with the reading of a letter of thanks from Mrs. Fannie Lee of the Social Service Bureau, followed by prayer. The minutes of the 1963 meeting were read and approved. The treasurer's report showed a balance on hand April 1, 1969 of $56.10. The following announcement were made: - National Convention Needlework Guild of America to be held at the Golden Triangle Motor Hotel on April 21st, 22nd and 23rd. It was voted to send Mrs. V. H. Mushaum $10.00 for hospitality hour preceeding the banquet on April 22nd Ingathering date - May 14, 1964 at 10:20 am Fellowship Hall - Monumental Methodist Church. The secretary was instructed to send in slips to each participating organization with instructions to fill out one and return with article dues - $5,00 each organization except Portsmouth General Hospital Auxiliary - 20.00
