The Needlework Guild of America Minute Sheet Annual Meeting 1965

The Annual Meeting of the Portsmouth Branch of the Needlework Guild of America was held in Monumental Methodist Fellowship Hall with Mrs. Clyde Rawls presiding. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The treasurer's report showed a balance of $63.60 as of May 1965. A general discussion was held concurring the advisability of disbanding the Portsmouth Branch. It was suggested that a meeting be held in the early fall. At this time to try and until some other local organizations in farming units. The Secretary was instructed to order new literature - expenses not to exceed $25.00. Mrs. C. O Barclay Jr. applied to become President with the help of Mrs. Clyde Rawls. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
