Sep. 21/36 Regular semi monthly of Austin R. Davis Camp #4 Dpt of Va. was held on the above date meeting was opened in regular form. Roll call of officers minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved. Sr. Vice Comd. W. H. Darn acting commander as the commander was absent. The sick committee made the following report: Commander Wilson greatly improved. Com. Jones and Barclay improving. Com. Barnes not so well. Com. Snyder suggested that we call the attention of the City Manager to a leak in the roof Com. Wilson agreed to see him. Com. Banister stated the comrads were coming up slow with these contribution for the monument fund. The subject was disgised to some extent some of the comrads promised to come across and some good suggestions were offered. Com. George made a motion which was carried that the Comd. appoint a committee to represent this camp to work with the past Comd. of disabled veteran Waller Brennan and other veteran organization to appear before the City Council and request permission to put a flag in Branch Cemetery and to instruct the care taker to raise and lower same daily. Remarks for the goal of the order post Dpt Comd Sedinger was with us and gave us a good talk W. H. Tonkins adjt.
