Regular Semi Monthly Meeting of Austin R Davis Camp #4 Dpt of Va U S W V. was held on the above date Oct 19 1936 Meeting was opened in regular form Roll Call of officials Minutes of the last regular meeting of Oct 5th was read and approved Sr. Vice Commander was in the Chair. The sick Committee made the following report Com. Jones & Barclay about the same Commander Wilson improving fast and Expected to be out this Weekend. A letter was read addressed to the Commander requesting him to be present at a Navy day Celebration to be held by the fleet reserves Sat Oct. 24 The Comd.being absent the Sr. Vice Comd. appointed Comade George to attend not being able to go himself. The fleet reserves through there representative Com. Rawley requeste the loan of some dishes. for Sat Oct 24th by unomous vote the camp granted the request. Com. Lader F.M Snyder and G.R. Myers was appointed as a Committe to assist in general activities of Servs of USWV. Camp. Motion was Carried to turn on the gas Nov 1st. Com. Myers was appointed to take care of same. Motion Carried for the Commander to hire some help to keep the hall clean. for the good of the order Com. Banister Thanked the Comrods who attended the Council Meeting at Alexander and so Loyally supported him for dpt Jr Vice Commander and also Made a good talk for the good of the organization. No further business the Camp adjourned.
