12/7/36 Regular semi monthly meeting of Austin R. Davis Camp #4 Dpt of VA US.W.V. was held on this above date. Meeting was opened in regular form Roll Call of officers and minutes of last regular meeting was read and approved. Commander Wilson ruling General orders #2 of 1936 and 37 was read. The trustees reported that they with the assistance of the adjt and quartermaster had audited the books of the Camp and found them in first class condition Com. Banister presented a plan to raise funds for the monument and asked the Camp whether his committee should proceed or not The Camp voted to exept Com. Banisters plan and proceed. Motion was carried to close the drive for funds from the Camp March 31st 1937 instead of May 31, as previously planed. The Nominating Committe composed of all past Commanders for nominating officers for the year of 1937 made the following report For Commander Com. Pearl Wilson Sr Vice Com Frank Snyder Jr Vice Com George R Myers officer of this day Com E H Bonn officer of the guard Com W. R Snyder For Trustees Com Lader for 3 years for one year Com J E Rawley. Motion was made and carried for the camp to contribute $5.00nto two Ladies of the auxilary The Comrads also made a free will offering of $4.00 A motion was carried instructing the quartermaster to purchase a copy of the new Constitution and by laws to Capt $2.00 The commander apointed Com Lader Myers and Snyder to arange for the installation of offices for the year of 1937 No further business Camp adjourned.
