Feb 1st 1937 Regular semi monthly meeting of Austin R. Davis Camp #4 Dpt of Va was held on the above date. Meeting was opened in regular form. Comd. PJ Wilson ruling Minutes of regular meeting of Jan. 4th and Jan. 18. also of special meeting of Jan 21st was read and approved. The bond for the quartermaster for 1937 was turned over to the Commander Legislation buletin from Rice W Meons chairman of national legislative committe was read and filed. Com Leofe Chairman of Maine day committe reported that his committe had confered with Marshall Terrell Camp and it was agreed for our camp to proceed with arangements for a joint meeting. Com. Banister chairman of Monument Committee reported his committee had ordered the necessary stationary and reported to date $1188.00 had been collected and urged the Comrods to pay their obligation as soon as possible. Com. Banister also stated that he had received a message from Dpt Commander stating that the National Commander in Chief Hon. Scott Leavett would visit our city on Feb 8th 9th or 10th He as soon as possible got in touch with Comd. Wilson and called a special meeting getting 10 Comrode. It was decided at this meeting to arange to entertain the Hon. National Comd. on the 10th of Feb and to make necessary arrangements to entertain him On motion of Com Lader the monument committe was instructed to proceed with arrangements to entertain the Hon. Comd with a banquet. Com. Banister called a meeting of this committe after the Camp adjourned. No further business Camp adjourned WH Tonkins Camp adjt
