May 3/37 Regular semi monthly meeting of Austin R Davis Camp #4 Dpt of Va was held on the above date

Meeting was opened in regular form. Comd. Wilson presiding. Roll Call of officers and absentees noted Minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved. Litter was read and filed from, Camp #18 of Charlottsville reporting hotel rates during Dpt encampment - The quartermaster was ordered to pay bill for fire insurance on hall equipment of $803 for 3 years amount of insurance $300.00 This policy expires April 28 - 1940.. Com Snyder Chairman of the sick committee, made a good report stating they all were improving.

Com. Banister chairman of Monument Committee made a very encouraging report.

Com. Ferris reported progress on Memorial day parade. Motion made and carried to purshase 3 doz U-S-W V arm bands at $4.50 per doz the quartermaster was ordered to make the purshase in time for Memorial day parade

Motion was made and carried to take up the question with the post Master requesting him to arrange if possible to deliver pension checks when the first day of the Month falls on Saturday The Comdr. stated he would take care of this. No further business Camp adjourned to meet again May 17th
