Dec 5/38 Regular semi monthly meeting of Austin R. Davis Camp #4 Dept of Va U.S.W.V. was held on the above date Meeting was opened in regular form by Comd. Snyder Roll Call of affairs and minutes of the last regular meeting of Nov 21 was read and approved Letter was read and filed from Dpt adj't reminding the Camp that [illegible] tax would soon be due and requesting the camp officers to be prompt - with hours semi and annual reports Com. Yoder delivered a part commanders lodge turned in to the camp by past Comd. Fred E Crossman regulating the camp to except it. Motion was made and carried unanimously To present Com. J W Brown past Comd with the returned badge The presentation was made by Dpt adj't Rosono and was excepted by Com Brown with Thanks Dpt. historians report for 1937 was read, which was very good and also very interesting at their time regular order of business was suspended to reinstate Com. Zane Hull by renturning the obligator. Com. Farris presented a bill for $145 for use of Telophone in Connection to getting Com. Quanstrom in the Hospital Bill was ordered paid. The nominating committe reported they had nominated the following comrads for office for 1939 Comd. Geo. R. Myers S. V. Comd. E. H. Brown J. S. V. Lindsey Leafe officer of the Day Earnest Cundel Trustee for 3 years Edward Lader John W Yeager was nominated at the meeting for officer of the guard on motion dpt land cast a [illegible] votes for the Election of all nominees. The Quartermaster requested the adjt and trustee to meet its camp Hall sat. Dec 17th 10:30 am to audit the books motion was carried for the
