Regular semi Monthly of Austin R Davis Camp #4 Dpt of Va was held on this date Meeting was opened in regular form by Comd. Myers Minutes of the last regular meeting of April 3rd was read and approved

Dpl. Comd. Banister Chairman of the monument Committee went into detail explaining what had been done up to this date by himself and committee and stated the committee had on hand about $15.00 which he was lead to believe was sufficient funds but recently owing to some miss understanding he learned several hundred dollars more would have to raised in order to proceed with the project, requesting the camp for informative as to what to do suggesting the committee discontinue its efforts. After some discussion Comd Banister was instructed to continue as chairman of this committed using his own judgment and what-ever he chose this camp would stick by him.

Com. Pearl Wilson was requested by the chairman to see the City Manager and ask him to consult W P A Project in connection with furnishing the Monument. No other business the camp adjourned to meet again May 15th.
