Samuel Brown & Francis Martin Defts. Judgment is granted the Pltfs for two pounds seven Shillings & four pence half penny with Costs & a Lawyer's Fee.
In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Job Wiglay Plt & Nathl. Harrison Esqr. acting Execr. of the last Will & Testament of William Walker Gent. decd. defts. the deft. for plea Saith that the Testator did not assume the Plt. joined the Issue & the Tryal is referred till the next Court; absent J. Mercer gent.
In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between George Spicer plt. & Abram Fletcher deft a Jury to wit Thomas Norman, William Wright, Husbandfoote Whitecotton, Charles Wells, John Saunderson, John Green, Charles Harding, Benjamin Robinson, John Withers, Thomas Wood, John Payton & Andrew Edwards were Sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words, "We the Jury find for the Plt. one penny sterg. damage, Andrew Edwards, foreman" which Verdict at the Plt. Motion is admitted to record, and it's considered by the Court that the Plt. recover of the sd. deft. the sd. one penny by the Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd. assessed & one penny sterling Costs.
In the Action upon the Case between John Foushee Plt. & Samuel Earl deft. the special Verdict in this Suit being argued, is adjudged imperfect whereupon a new Jury is ordered
Ordered that George Spicer pay Edward Hampton fifty pounds of Tobacco for two days attendance as an Evidence for him against Fletcher.
Ordered that George Spicer pay John Hooe fifty pounds of Tobacco for two days attendance as an Evidence for him against Fletcher.
Ordered that Abraham Fletcher pay Benjamin Massey seventy five pounds of Tobacco for three days attendance as an Evidence fo[r] him at Suit of Spicer
Ordered that Abram Fletcher pay Isaac Rose one hundred & twenty five pounds of Tobo. for five days attendance as an Evidence for him at the suit of Spicer.
Ordered that John Bryan serve his Master Darby O'Cain for two days runaway time & one hundred & eighty pounds of Tobacco & two Shillings & six pence expended in taking him up.
