his hands, & if he hath not so much in his hands then the Costs of the proper Goods & Chattles of the sd. Execur.

Ordered that Isaac Bredwell pay Charles Harding two hundred pounds of Tobacco for eight days attendance as an Evidence for him at Suit of OCain

Ordered that William Davis pay Ann Gray one bundred & seventy five pounds of Tobacco for seven days attendance as an Evidence for him at Suit of Tayloe.

In the Suit in Chancery between William Walker & Elizabeth his Wife, John Thomas, & Priscilla Monks Compts. & Andrew Edwards, & Betty his Wife Adminrs. with the Will annexed of James Waugh Gent. dec'd. defts. the defts. having filed their Answer time is given the Compts. till the next Court to consider thereof

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between James Stuart, & Mary his Wife Plts. & Elizabeth Rapier deft. a Jury to wit John Ralls, John Clark, Thomas Crawford, William Swetman, John Peyton, William Bussell, Edward Pilcher, Jacob Johnson, Darby OCain, Thomas Sudden [sic], Richard Randall, & William Horton were sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words, "We of the Jury find for the deft. William Bussell foreman" which Verdict at the defts. Motion is admitted to record, & it's considered by the Court that the Plt. take nothing by his Bill, that the deft go hence without day, & that she recover of the sd. Plt. her Costs by her about her defence in this behalf sustained.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Elizabeth Rapier Plt. & James Stuart, & Mary his Wife deft's. a Jury to Wit John Ralls, John Clark Thomas Crawford William Swetman, John Peyton William Bussell , Edward Pilcher, Jacob Johnson, Darby OCain, Thomas Sedden, Richard Randall & William Horton were Sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words "We of the Jury find for the Plt, forty shillings sterling damage William Bussell foreman" which Verdict at the Plt's Motion is admitted to record & its considered by the Court that the Plt. recover, of the sd. deft. the sd. forty shillings sterling damage by the Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd assessed & her Costs by her in this behalf expended. ~

Ordered that James Wrenn pay William Wrenn four hundred & three pounds of Tobacco for seven days attendance as an Evidence for him against Walker's Execurs. & for coming & returning nineteen Miles four times.

Ordered that John Tayloe Esqr. pay William Jones one hundred & fifty pounds of Tobacco for six days attendance for him as an Evidence against Davis ~
