In the Action of Trespass Assault & Battery between William Sudduth Plt. & John Payton deft. the deft. having pleaded not guilty the Plt. joined the Issue & the Trial thereof is referred till the next Court. ~

In the Action of debt between William Cunninghame & Co. Pts. & John Thomas deft. Jacob Johnson & Withers Conway came into Court & undertook that if the deft. should be condemned in this Action that they would pay the condemnation for him, or surrender his Body to Prison & the deft. having pleaded that he owes nothing. The Plt. joined the Issue & the Trial thereof is referred till the next Court.

In the action of debt between Charles Carter Esqr. Plt. & Winifred Massey Adminrx. &c of Robert Massey decd. deft. the deft. having pleaded Payment & fully administred [sic], the Plt. joined the Issue & the Trial thereof is referred till the next Court.

In the action of Trespass upon the Case between William Fitzhugh Gent. Plt. & Winifred Massey Admrx. &c of Robert Massey decd. deft. the deft. having pleaded Payment & fully Administred, the Plt. joined the Issue & the Trial thereof is referred till the next Court.

The Action of Trespass upon the Case between Patrick Grady Plt. & Snodall & William Horton defts. abates by the Plt's Death.

The Action of Trespass upon the Case between James Boydie Plt. & Henry Tyler deft. is dismist each Party paying their own Costs.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Catharine Ashby Plt. & Saml. Bredwell deft. a Jury to wit John Gravat, John Angell, William Pickett, John Payton, Humphry Pope, Saml. Earle, William Potter, Francis Broox, Thomas Norman, John Honey, Franklyn Latham & John Harding were sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words, "We find the deft. said the Plt. pull'd the Wool off his Sheep, If the Law be for the Plt. we find for her forty Shillings Sterling damage, if not we find for the deft. Howson Hooe foreman" which Verdict at the Plt's Motion is admitted to record, & this Suit is continued till the next Court for the Matters of Law arising thereupon to be argued.

Ordered that Sarah McCullough pay Charles Harding two hundred & seventy five pounds of Tobacco for eleven days Attendance as an Evidence for her against Bredwell.

Ordered that Sarah McCullough pay Thomas Ashby two hundred pounds of Tobacco for eight days Attendance as an Evidence for her against Bredwell.
