Brooks exor v Brooks admr Pursuant to the order in this case your Commissioner proceeded on the 5th of February 1841 to comply with the requirements of said decree at which time the present complainant James M. Payne and the defendant Hix were both in attendance. Your commissioner states that the defendant Hix exhibited no account of any money paid either by himself or by his intestate for the maintenance and support of the complainant Brooks and his wife except the sum of 84 cts and aver that was not sustained by any proof. In relation to the other branch of the matter your commissioner is of the opinion that it would require the sum of $200 annually to maintain and support the complainant Brooks and his wife during their joint lives, and $100 annually for the maintenance of plaintiff after the death of his wife all which is respectfully submitted.
