-22- was given two weeks with pay in which to locate a job with instructions to report to Camp Lee for discharge. On my way home I stopped with Eleanor and John in Wilmington and then home to see the dear ones there. After a day there I tired of the uniform so caught the night train for Petersburg and at Camp Lee September 15th, 1919, exactly two years from the day I first reported there for duty, I received my honorable discharge.
