[at bottom of page] In Witness whereof I ye under written Phillip Ludwell Esqr in ye names & on ye behalfe of ye said propriators by vertue of a generall power & procuracon by ye said propriators to mee granted to ye Effect aforesaid have hereunto sett my hande & ye usuall seall appointed by ye prpiators to this purpose this [blank] Day of [blank] 1691

This Conveyance is Intended onley for Landes never before taken up & Pattented & if there bee any Clause or word omitted in it that may make it more Effectuall in Law to Convey ye Inheritance of Land to posterity ye Inserting of such word or Clause shall bee submitted to, Phil Ludwell

Where Landes are held by for former sureties in ye Secretaries office for wch noe Pattent hath yett Issued ye rights to those Landes ought & shall bee allowed according to the dates of ye Surveyes upon a Certificate from ye Clerke of ye secretaries office that such Survey hath been formerly Entred in ye office, & Conveyances shall Issue for such Landes accordingly-- Phill Ludwell
