Saturday My dear Mrs. Munford: I am writing to all of the clubs to-day to urge them to send delegations to Richmond We shall be able to send one from Lynchburg, but I, myself shall not be able to go until the Superintendent's Conference 23rd to 27th. I have been told by one of his neighbors that Mr. Blankinship is working against us right along. I dont know whether you know the details of the Farmers' Union meeting. I have heard only what was published in the Richmond papers. I am told that Mrs. Montague was to be there, that she is a member of the Halifax branch and that she was instrumental in getting two or three local organizations of the Union to pass unfavorable resolutions The Farmville Normal College hearing could not have been more satisfactory to us if we had planned it ourselves.
