R. T. IRVINE, ATTORNEY AT LAW, BIG STONE GAP, VA.

December 3, 1913.

Mrs. Beverly B. Munford, Richmond, Va.

My dear Mrs. Munford:-

I must apologize for not answering more promptly your recenter letter regarding the Woman's College matter. I got it with the literature you were good enough to send me under separate cover just as I was starting to the University for the board meeting on November 11th. Since my return from that trip I have been constantly tied up in court is my reason for not having sent you this acknowledgment sooner.

It has given me great pleasure to read the literature on this subject which you sent. I expect to be at the meeting of the board on the 11th of this month, called to consider this subject, and I have no doubt I will have the pleasure of meeting you there and hearing you present your views to the board, which I am sure all of us will be delighted to have you do. Again thanking you for having written me, I am

Very sincerely yours, R. T. Irvine
