Thomas S. Martin. Chairman United States Senate, Committee on Appropriations, Washington D. C. January 30, 1918. Mrs. Mary C. B. Munford, 503 Grace Street, Richmond, Virginia. My dear Mrs. Munford: This morning I am in receipt of your letter of the 29th instant and write just a few lines to acknowledge the same. I am so closely occupied here with the constant drive of public duties that I am afraid I shall be unable to give much attention to the matter to which you refer. You may be assured, however, the matter will have every consideration I can give it. In response to your intimation that you may be in be in Washington, I write to say that I shall be glad to see you at any time you may call. Very sincerely yours, Thomas S. Martin
