hope to get out by the last of the week. My main trouble is that I am so disinclined to face the drafts of cold air and my strength comes to me very slowly. I feel as tender as an infant and as weak as a kitten. I am delighted to hear such good news in regard to the coordinate college. You seem to be accomplishing wonders. I wonder that the Virginian should take the position that Farmville could be made over. If any normal school is taken it should be the one with the shortest history. No school can get recognition as a college if it has a large number of graduates who have not even had the Freshman year. Elizabeth College at Salem said virtually that it would close its doors before it would take over a Junior College rating. It wisely wished to start right. Sincerely R. C. Stearnes
