Powhatan, Va., Jan. 30th, 1918 - My dear Mrs. Munford: I received today your letter of the 28th and have complied with your request - that I notify, at once, my Senator and Representative of my support of the bill introduced into the House by the Speaker and other friends of the Coordinate College. I assure you that I will give the "Bill to Extend the Usefulness of the University of Va., and to give credit toward degrees for Women for work done in the Summer School," my loyal support and do all in my power to "make collegiate education for women at the University a reality in 1918" - Sincerely, Mary Lewis Tucker
