THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, To the Sheriff of Powhatan County, Greeting: WE COMMAND YOU that you summon John C. Stratton admor de bonis non with the will annexed of John Cullin deceased, Creed Taylor, & William W Michaux, Exor of William Walthall deceased to appear before the Judge of our Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for the County of Powhatan, at the Rules to be holden in the Clerk's Office of the said Circuit Superior Court, on the first Monday in February next, to answer a Bill in Chancery, exhibited against them in our said Court, by Nancy Cullin, Ann Cullin, William Brooks and Judith his wife, formerly Judith Cullin, Sally Cullin & America Cullin[.] And we also command you that you make known to the said John C. Stratton admor de bonis non as aforesaid Creek Taylor & Wm W. Michaux Exor as aforesaid that unless they shall answer the said Bill within two months from the return day hereof, the Court will take the same for confessed, and decree accordingly: And this they shall in no wise omit, under the penalty of £100. each: And have then there this Writ. Witness WILLIAM S. DANCE, Clerk of our said Circuit Superior Court, at the Courthouse of the County of Powhatan aforesaid, the 29th day of January 1850, and in the 74th year of our Foundation. Wm. S.
