As the result of a correspondence with Mrs Mary Morris Lockwood of Clarendon, Va., she has agreed to form a League at that place, and will come to Alexandria to meet Mrs Valentine and Miss Johnston, when they fulfill an engagement there, and thoroughly discuss her ideas and views with them.

I have written Mrs. Vawter of Highland Park, this city, with a view to closer local organization, by asking her to be the head of an auxiliary group in that community. I have sent letters and pamphlets, at her recommendation, to:
