that everyone had some burning question to solve - had had some red hot experiences that Nat. officers were most considerate of everyone but never weak nor indecisive. That perfect harmony seemed to reign among them. Tho'we know them to be of opp. polit. faith. That their devotion to the Cause, capacity to work + endurance of long hours + steady strain was nothing short of marvelous. There was not the slightest sign of seeking office. Elections the quietest thing possible. That time is never wasted on non-essential but fundamental principles may have the floor as long as women wish to argue them. Personalities were frowned upon at all times. Only when admiration for good deeds or great words broke forth spontaneously was anything permitted - few boquets were thrown around.
