b. Purpose: To teach method of employing prearranged Message Code and Map Coordinate Code in encoding messages.
2. SITUATION: You are the leader of a reconnaissance patrol from Company A, 1st Infantry. You have the following message to send to your company commander by voice radio:
Enemy rifle platoon entrenched in vicinity of BM at (28.1-22.5) Will leave 2 men in observation.
3. REQUIREMENT: Encode in the space below, the body of the message given above using Prearranged Message Code (Com 70-43), and Map Coordinate Code (overprinted on Special Map No. 26).
