This Indenture made the 15th day of February in the Year of our Lord 1841 between John Rosser of the first part, John M Speed and John D Alexander of the second part and Charles L Mosby of the third part all parties residing in the County of Campbell and State of Virginia Witnesseth: that whereas the said John Rosser is jointly indebted as of this day to the said Charles L Mosby in the sum of Two thousand two hundred and fifty dollars of which sum the said Charles L Mosby is willing and hath agreed to forbear the collection for the period of ten years from tis day provided that the said John Rosser shall punctually pay to them at the expiration of each year within that period the legal interest on the said principal sum, that is to say, One hundred and thirty five dollars on the 15th day of February next, and the like sum on the 15th day of February in each successive year up to the year 1851, that day inclusive and at the expiration of the said two years shall pay the said principal sum, as may more fully appear by a bond executed by the said John Rosser with William Rosser and Edmund W Rosser his securities to the said Charles L Mosby of even date herewith in a penalty of four thousand five hundred dollars. And whereas it is the honest wish and intention of the said John Rosser to secure and make certain to the said Charles L Mosby the payment of the said sum of money with its interest accruing, punctually and without default in manner aforesaid. Now therefore in consideration of the premises and for the further consideration of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said John M Speed and John D. Alexander at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, he the said John Rosser hah given, granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain, sell, and convey to the said John M Speed and John D Alexander and their heirs forever, the following real estate lying and being in the County of Campbell, to W A a certain tract or parcel of land, containing about five hundred acres situated lying and being on the water of Falling River in said County and adjoining the lands on which the said John Rosser now resides being all that tract or parcel of land, which was purchased by the said John Rosser from a certain Reuben Rucker, and by him duly conveyed by deed, now of record in the Clerk's Office of Campbell County Court to which deed referred is here made for certainty as to the said hereby conveyed land with all and
