Oct 16th 1918 My dear Mother, Your letter written Sept 19th came yesterday, tell Ernest I say that he certainly writes fine - and that I am going to write him - Well we have moved again since I last wrote you, and I was so sorry of it - Now we live in tents, and of course are not fixed up as good as we were before - But I don't think we will be here long - Had another letter from Aunt Layla and one from [Grace?] Edmonds too - They said they were all so glad to see Abe - this peace talk certainly sounds good but I don't believe I will get back before sometime next summer, but I certainly wish I could be there Christmas - I am getting on alright, and feeling fine - Will write you a long letter
