This Deed Made this, the 19th day of September, eighteen hundred and sixty, between Thos. T. Hill of the first part and James G Field, and Daniel [Flinstine?] of the other part. Whereas the said Hill is desirous to secure his individual, and private debts; This Indenture, witnesseth, that the said Hill, doth grant unto the said parties of the second part, the following property to wit: a Negro woman, Bettie and any future increase which she may have, a Negro woman Lizzy, about sixty years old, Negro boy Peter: a Lot of ground situated in the city of Alexandria, formerly sold & conveyed by Thompson & wife to J. M. Semmes, and purchased under an order of the County Court of Alexandria County, by said Hill at the sheriffs sale, two certain lots of ground, situated in Kansas City, purchased by said Hill of M J Payne, a Lot of ground in the city of Leavenworth: also Land certificates for six Hundred acres of government Land, All his interest in the estate of his father, the Late Major Thomas Hill of any description, all debts due said Hill from whatever source, either from the proceeds of the partnership fund of R. M. McCormick & Co or otherwise all his household & Kitchen furniture contained in a room at the corner of Prince & Washington streets Alexandria
