Know all men by these presents that I Apphia Boatman of the County of Lancaster in the Colony of Virginia do bond unto my Son in Law Abner Palmer one Negro Boy named Henry for & during my natural Life and after my decease for the natural affection which I have for my son in law Abner Palmer, I give the whole right & property of the said Henry to the said Abner Palmer & his heirs forever and the said Apphia Boatman do for myself Heirs, Exors. & Admors, covenant grant and promise to warrant the said Henry to the said Abner Palmer, his heirs and assigns for over from all persons claiming under me or any person whatever.
